Near the middle of August each year, a group of painters convene on the small hamlet of Dexter Michigan. This year, the town will be celebrating their Bicentennial (1824-2024). There are a multitude of views of the area. Typical of a small town, there are landmark structures that businesses still occupy. Branching out the center is a river walk that takes one in three directions from the Main Street. Woodlands, wetlands, and meadows may be found along the pedestrian path. A short distance outside of town, amongst the suburban neighborhoods are operating farms and ranches.
